$15,000 was raised on Memorial Day weekend 2011.  All proceeds went to a man and his family as he struggled with health and work and his wife with reoccurring brain tumors.  The husband, unable to perform his current vocation, had to take a lower paying job.  His wife has had brain tumors three times.  At home, they both spend much of their time providing for two adult children with Autism.  The family was grateful for the support they recieved from the Benefit and we continue to pray for their family.
