Benefiting those who have experienced hardship.
The Christadelphian Softball Benefit was birthed in 2008 after a young woman was inspired to use her talents in softball for good works. Since its inception, the Benefit has aimed to help others experiencing financial hardships. The Benefit takes place throughout Memorial Day Weekend, with Softball games, food, and fellowship. While fun is had by all, the expressed purpose of the event is to raise money for a family or individual in need.
Paul commands us in Galatians to "bear ye one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ." Assisting those with financial hardships is just one small way to lighten a heavy load.
